Over the past 6 months that Lee and I have met I feel that as our relationship grew, so did my relationship with Jesus. I was at a point in my life where I needed a Godly woman to confide in and lean on. I often invest in others and cheer them on to their dreams yet I never seek that for my own life. It was encouraging to have someone like Lee really take a whole-hearted interest in my life and my walk with the Lord. During our 6 months I have made the decision to leave my job and completely switch careers to finally follow my passions. Having Lee as someone I could confide my dreams in and know she was praying for me played a big part in that process.
I'm very thankful I went through the Heart to Heart program as I've often had mentors in my career but never in my walk with Jesus. I learned how important it is to let go of my own issues and see how God can move in my life once I fully let him.
