Being a heart-to-heart mentor has been a deeply rewarding experience.
From the moment I met my "mentee" I knew the match was made by God
and our relationship was meant to be. My mentee and myself met weekly
to study, talk, walk and pray. Regardless of my own preparation for
the meetings or emotional/physical energy, God was faithful to use me
to speak truth, love and hope to my mentee. During our meetings, I
was always surprised at how much I was personally encouraged and
challenged. The relationship was mutually beneficial and a true joy
to me. I now have a new friend for life!
